Prove your protection works. Keep more renewals.

For CDN, WAF, scrubbing and bot management vendors. DDactic is independent DDoS resilience testing. We don't sell protection, so there's zero channel conflict — which is why a prospect's CISO acts on our score.

What we do, and don't do

We validate how customer-owned infrastructure holds up under real volumetric and application-layer load. We share findings with the vendor whose stack is in path. We don't resell protection, and we don't recommend "DDactic instead of" anyone. That independence is the whole point: a CISO who discounts a vendor's own benchmark will act on a third party's.

Where this isn't a fit: if your product is itself a DDoS testing or simulation service, we overlap and this isn't the right page. Everyone else — CDN, WAF, scrubbing, bot, API-security, origin-shielding — is a candidate.

Four ways we grow your book

01 · Validate

Independent proof of deployment

"Would a CISO trust you to validate your own product?" We're the neutral scoreboard that proves a deployment actually holds — the answer to every "does it really work?" objection. The output is observable layer coverage: L3, L4, L7, WAF, bot, rate-limit.

02 · Refer

Match-scored prospect routing

Our OPI vendor-match score routes clients whose asset profile fits your layer coverage — and quietly steers the poor-fit deals that would churn. A pre-qualified pipeline, scored on real recon rather than firmographics.

03 · Close

Before/after proof in the sales cycle

Prospect runs a DDactic scan and sees their real OPI exposure. The gap is independent, not a vendor pitch. You position your platform as the fix that moves the score. We re-test after deployment and prove the gap closed.

04 · Retain

Continuous reproof at renewal

Config drift silently breaks protection — a rule reset in July undoes a hardening done in March. Continuous reproof on every config change keeps your customers' posture provably effective, with a live evidence trail at renewal time.

How the technical collaboration works

We score the deployment, not your product. Everything is outside-in — the attacker's view of what the edge exposes.

PhaseWhat happensWhat you get
1. Score Passive recon on the customer's attack surface produces an OPI score and per-host layer coverage map. A per-asset view of which hosts your stack covers — and which don't yet.
2. Correct Where our model understates your coverage, you flag it and we encode the correction. More right-fit prospects routed to you. Fewer mismatched hand-offs.
3. Deploy The customer rolls out your platform on the hosts that need it. A paying customer who understands why they're paying.
4. Prove We re-test. The report shows the before/after OPI delta your deployment produced. Case study material. Renewal evidence. CISO-grade proof.

Who this is for

Named protection vendors with a stake in independent validation and inbound-qualified pipeline.

Edge / CDN

Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly, AWS Front Door, Azure Front Door, Google Cloud CDN

Prospects increasingly ask for proof that the enabled DDoS features actually hold under real load, not just that they're switched on.

WAF / app security

F5, Imperva, Radware, A10, AWS WAF, Azure WAF, GCP Armor

WAF efficacy under L7 flood is the single biggest renewal-time question — and the hardest to answer with your own data.

Scrubbing / BGP / bot

Nexusguard, Netscout Arbor, Corero, Lumen, Arelion, DataDome

Deployment math (always-on vs. on-demand, BGP vs. tunnel) is the biggest variable in whether the protection actually fires in time.

Not an endorsement list — a representative set of vendor types we work with. If your platform is in path on customer production traffic and takes DDoS seriously, we probably have common ground.
